Set up YG3 LinkedIn Actions: send connection requests from your own profile

YG3 LinkedIn Actions is a Chrome extension. It reads the ICPs from your YG3 account, finds the right people on LinkedIn, and sends each one a connection request with a note you write. It runs in your own Chrome, on your own LinkedIn profile.

Download the extension

1. Install it (about two minutes)

  1. Download the extension above, then unzip the file.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome.
  3. Turn on Developer mode using the toggle in the top right.
  4. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped yg3-linkedin-actions folder.
  5. Pin it to your toolbar: click the puzzle-piece icon, then the pin next to YG3 LinkedIn Actions.

2. Open the window, then log in

Click the YG3 LinkedIn Actions icon in your toolbar first. It opens its own window with a LinkedIn tab inside. Do this before you log in, so the extension works in the window it controls.

In that window, log into LinkedIn and into YG3 at yg3.ai. The extension reads your clients and ICPs from your YG3 login and sends from your LinkedIn session. If the client list is empty, you are not logged into YG3 in that window.

3. Add your ICPs

The extension sends to the ICPs you set in YG3. In YG3, open a client and go to Workspace → Audience → Outreach ICPs. Add each audience you want to reach. An ICP defines the titles, industries, and location it targets, and it generates the LinkedIn search the extension uses.

4. Send

  1. Click the toolbar icon to open the dashboard.
  2. Choose a client and an ICP.
  3. Set how many to pull, then click Pull prospects.
  4. Leave Dry run on to watch it work without sending. Turn it off when you are ready to send for real.
  5. Click Start. Each person gets a connection request with your note, addressed to them by name.

Settings you control

  • Message. The note that goes with each request. Use {firstName} for the person’s first name.
  • Daily and weekly caps. The most requests it will send in a day and a week.
  • Pacing. The time it waits between requests.

While it runs

  • Keep the window open and do not minimize it. Chrome pauses a minimized tab, which stalls the run. Move it to a second monitor or behind your other windows instead.
  • It works at a human pace. Expect a small number of requests spaced out through the day, not all at once. That pacing is deliberate, so your account stays safe.
  • Leave it running in the background and keep working. It keeps going on its own and pauses if LinkedIn asks you to verify.

It runs on your own machine and your own profile, and sends only to the people in your ICPs.
