The recipe

How to do it

  1. Pick the work you want more of

Choose two or three projects you would happily do again. Don't worry about showing everything you've ever made. A strong point of view is more memorable than a crowded portfolio.

  2. Tell the story behind each project

For each one, jot down the client's challenge, what you created, and what made the result special. Gather your favorite images. Let the work speak in your voice—not in agency clichés.

  3. Build a site worth sharing

Get started with YG3 and paste the instruction below. Create a homepage that introduces your studio, project pages that do the work justice, and a simple invitation to start something together.

  4. Give the right clients a way in

Make a page for each service you most want to sell, written for the people who need it. Link those services to the projects that show your taste and capabilities.

  5. Make the next introduction easy

Open the site on your phone. Click through the projects and send yourself a test inquiry. Then share the best project page the next time someone asks what your agency does.

  6. Keep it growing each week

You now have a website that shows off your best work, individual project stories, service pages, and an easy way for prospective clients to get in touch. Keep it fresh with your latest projects, sharpen how you describe your services, and make each introduction count. Use the weekly prompt below to keep building.
